Dr. Sharath Mohana Manya is a Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition specialist with over eight years of experience in paediatrics and more than four years of dedicated subspecialty training. He is currently undertaking a Fellowship in Complex Paediatric Nutrition, Intestinal Failure and Rehabilitation at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, having completed a Fellowship in Advanced Paediatric Hepatology, Pancreatology, Liver and Intestine Transplantation at King’s College Hospital, London.
He completed his MD in Paediatrics at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and a two-year PGHAN Fellowship at Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital, Chennai, graduating as Gold Medallist in the national exit examination. He also secured All India Rank 2 in the national superspeciality entrance examination. His special interests include complex nutrition and intestinal failure, paediatric inflammatory bowel disease, liver transplantation, neonatal cholestasis, acute liver failure and pancreatitis.
